Lady Tribe squeeze past Miller

“This is as good as Noblesville has been in a while and it’s definitely a good win on the road,” said Cook. “We want to keep building and this is one that we wanted to get going into the county tournament. I’m real proud of the effort.”

Anderson led 16-14 after the first quarter, but found themselves down by four at the half and 46-45 heading into the fourth quarter. Bentley hit a 3-pointer with seven minutes left in the game to give the Indians the lead for good at 48-46 and they led by as many as eight points in the final quarter. Noblesville would never get closer than four the rest of the way.

Anderson (6-3) hosts Pendleton Heights in the first round of the Madison County Tournament on Monday at 6 p.m.
