Published September 30, 2008 07:24 am - The Herald Bulletin launches today a weekly series on the Interstate 69 exits that affect the local economy. The articles will appear on Tuesdays and cover eight exits, from 10 in Hamilton County to 41 in Delaware County. During the first week of November, the series will run on Nov. 6 because of the Nov. 4 election. The schedule is as follows:

During the first week of November, the series will run on Nov. 6 because of the Nov. 4 election. The schedule is as follows:

Today: An overall look at the importance of the highway through Madison County.

Oct. 7: Exit 10 — The new Hamilton Town Center

Oct. 14: Exit 14 — New housing additions and more people

Oct. 21: Exit 19 — Gateway to Pendleton and new businesses

Oct. 28: Exit 22 — Growth at the Flagship area

Nov. 6: Exit 26 — Scatterfield Road and the city’s commercial district including Hoosier Park’s new casino

Nov. 11: Exit 34 — New businesses in Daleville and the truck stops

Nov. 18: Exit 41 — Potential for growth with the arrival of new warehouses
