— Marabelle Derr will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house on Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Anderson Church of the Brethren, 741 N. Scatterfield Road.
Marabelle was born April 28, 1918, and has lived in Anderson all her life. She is an active member of the Anderson Church of the Brethren and volunteers with RSVP, Saint John’s Medical Center and the Paramount Theatre.
She is the mother of two children, Greg (deceased) and Jody (Ron) Lee. She has two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In June, she will gather with family in Gatlinburg for another celebration.
