— Mr. and Mrs. Richard Washington will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Anderson First Friends Church, 2233 S. Central Way.
Richard Washington and Kristina Heavilin were married May 4, 1958, at Union Street Friends Church in Kokomo by the Rev. Norman Young.
Richard retired from Guide in 1992, and Kristina is a homemaker.
They are the parents of Gregory Washington, Teresa (Jeffrey) Dowers and Matthew (Ginger) Washington of Anderson and Douglas (Christine) Washington of Stevensville, Mich. They have seven grandchildren, Kristina Combs, Stephen Dowers, Paul, Emily, Jessica and Kenneth Washington of Anderson and Mark Washington of Stevensville, Mich.
