Published May 01, 2008 10:53 pm - Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Johns, Anderson, will celebrate their 50th anniversary today with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at Millcreek Civic Center in Chesterfield. Hosts for the event will be Jerry and Donna’s children. Johns Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. The couple were married May 2, 1958, at Shirley Christian Church by the Rev. Verl Libby. Mr. Johns is retired from Delco Remy. Mrs. Johns is retired from Fort Harrison. They are the parents of Carla S. Baugher, Eric C. Johns and Steven L. Johns. They have six grandchildren. Please omit gifts. Jerry and Donna enjoy retirement at their condo in Florida.
