Sigler anniversary

— Richard and Eleanor (Eagle) Sigler celebrated their 50th anniversary at Glad Tidings Church, Anderson. They exchanged their own handwritten vows at their celebration party which was given by their son Richard, their daughter, Lisa Sigler and their grandchildren.

They were married at the Church  of the God in Alexandria by the late Rev. Dwight McCurdy on July 6, 1963.

They are the parents of Ellen Sigler, Alexandria; Richard (wife, Mandy) Sigler of Alexandria and Lisa Sigler of Anderson. They have 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren with one expected in March.

Both are retired from Thomson Consumer Electronics, Marion. They are members of Living Word Ministries, Chesterfield.

Richard is an ordained minister. He has been involved in the nursing home ministry for 30 years and was in the Anderson jail ministry for 20 years.

They greatly enjoy their many family gatherings throughout the year.
