Gerald I. Pearson was 95 years young on Jan. 22. He was born in Belvidere, Ill., and served in the Air Force in World War II. After the service he went into window designing and advertising for department stores in Green Bay, Wis., Rockford, Ill., and Springfield.
In 1962 he was called to Anderson to work for Weiler Banner Fair Stores in Anderson and Portland. After Weilers closed he went to work for W.H.B.U. as an advertising representative.
Jerry is a master magician and has entertained at nursing homes, lodges, etc.
He celebrated his birthday with a greeting card shower from friends and family.
