Corbin anniversary

— Harold  “Pete” and Grace (Welch) Corbin celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 30.  The couple married at the Christian Church in St. James, Missouri on May 30, 1948 and moved to Anderson in 1951.

The Corbins are the proud parents of two children, Michael (Beverly) Corbin of Anderson with daughter Kara Grace and Kathryn Corbin (Frank Hughes) of Fishers.

Pete served in World War II in China in the Army Air Corps. After moving to Anderson, he worked for Delco Remy, Willys Motors, Woods Typewriters, and Universal Electric.  Grace worked hard making a loving and comfortable home for her husband and two children.

The Corbins still enjoy taking care of each, surrounded by the memories of long time friends.  They also treasure the company of the members of the local VFW where they are warmly welcomed.
