Johnston anniversary

— David Johnston married JoAnne Broderick on Sept. 14, 1963, at St. Mary’s Church.

David served in the Air Force as an airman first class. He also worked in electronics field service and taught electronics. JoAnne has been caring for people as a nurse for 51 years. They are both thoroughly enjoying retirement.

Dave and JoAnne have owned businesses, and enjoyed hobbies such as ham radio, archaeology, flying, and of course, doing things with and for family and friends.

To help Dave and JoAnne celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, there is an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren, Sharon, Nelson, Nelson David, Joy and Gracie Escalante; David, Brenda and Monica Johnston; and Lori and Wes Lewis on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the afternoon at 698 N. Fifth St., Middletown Church of the Nazarene, where they have been members for many years.

All friends and family are welcome.
