Kenneth and Connie (Ritchie) Hall of Anderson were married 50 years ago on April 4, 1964, at the First Christian Church in Sulphur Springs by the Rev. Orville Woody.
Mrs. Hall is the daughter of Kenneth (deceased) & Lillian Ritchie (Middletown), and Mr. Hall is the son of the late Ralph and Pauline Hall (New Castle).
Mrs. Hall spent several years working at home while the couples’ children were young. She later worked as an accountant and retired as a CPA from Couch and Company CPA.
Mr. Hall worked for Standard Grocery while finishing his degree from Ball State University. He went on to own and operate a Pepperidge Farm Bread Franchise, after which he worked for Wonder Bread and Prairie Farms Dairy before retiring.
They have four daughters, Julie Kirschling and husband Brad, Fishers; Kristine Miller and husband Bob, Anderson; Michelle Smith and husband Jay, Indianapolis; and Nancy Blocher and husband Josh, Arcadia.
They have four grandchildren, Denver Kirschling (age 20); Darie Kirschling (age 18); Hunter Blocher (age 11); and Hope Blocher (age 8).
Family and friends are invited to join Mr. and Mrs. Hall as they celebrate their anniversary at an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Paramount Theatre, Marquee Room in Anderson. They will also celebrate with their children and grandchildren later this summer with a trip to the Smoky Mountains.
