Thanks to firefighters, Red Cross

— I would like to take this opportunity to thank the respondents to the fire that occurred at my business, Graham Furniture, and the attached apartments.
Thanks to Chief Dave Gillespie and his men of the Chesterfield-Union Township Fire Department, the firefighters from Adams, Richland and Salem Township and the Anderson Fire Department.
I am thankful no one was injured. I would also like to thank Gary Benefiel and the Red Cross, who were so quick to offer aid to our tenants.
As our lives move on in this world, it is easy to forget, until something happens to us, how lucky we are to have brave men and women available, to come to our aid, save lives and property. It is also noteworthy, I think, that things are things, but lives cannot be replaced.
