Orestes sewage rate increase a surprise

— I just heard we will be getting a raise on our sewage rates in Orestes! It was put in the Anderson paper under Alexandria “Board promotes new police officer.” I think it is terrible that we are not notified of rate increases before the fact instead of being hid in another column!
Orestes rates are too high now where most people are on fixed incomes. Our household water, sewage and trash bill was $133.85 for the month of April.
Please leave us enough money for food, housing and other utilities. Overall, this reminds me of the Great Depression! Is there no end to this greed?
What’s next? Sugar and gas stamps?
