Breaking News:  Two reported hurt in Miami mall shooting  December 01, 2008 12:52 pm

Different gas prices perplexing

Are our local gasoline distributors and retailers price gouging? Earlier this week we traveled to Mooresville, Avon, Plainfield and Indianapolis. The highest gas price we saw was $3.25. I filled up in Plainfield for $3.17 a gallon. Then back to Anderson where the price was still at $3.55 or higher. Come on, people, I can see a couple cents difference, but 30 cents or more!

Did Hurricane Ike come through Anderson and I missed it? Or are we connected to Atlanta or Knoxville pipelines and can’t get enough gas delivered? Can someone give me a rational explanation for the gouging (oops, I meant challenging elevated pricing).
