On Feb. 21, a very nice young lady came in the Utility Office to take care of her bill. She informed one of my employees that she had an extra $500 in which she would like to pay on somebody's bill that is in need.
The credit manager, credit representative and myself tried to figure out who might be in urgent need of help. The credit representative had spoken to a customer earlier in the day that was just released from the hospital and did not know how she was going to pay on her bill. She had never gotten help on her utility bill in the past.
We mentioned this to the young lady and she said "that's the one, that's the one," so she paid on this customer's account. I spoke to the good Samaritan and did mention to her that this is very unusual and how much I appreciated her kindness and it was very nice of her to help someone else and I am sure the customer will be surprised and very thankful of her kindness.
God bless this person.
