Letter: Waterfall could provide electricity

After reading several newspaper articles regarding the proposed reservoir in the Madison County/Delaware County area, I would like to express my voice against this proposed project.

It may have been a good idea if it had occurred many years ago but, as it stands now, Anderson is 40 years too late.

If, by some miracle, this project would be funded and proceed then it should be done right. In the long term, Delaware and Madison counties should have a waterfall where there would be an electrical generator mechanism to provide electricity for these two counties, and residents would only have to pay nominal rates for electricity. This would be a “pay back” for Delaware and Madison counties, as a return on their investment.
