Letter: Gridlock may be only hope for this country

Sen. Clayborne jumped the gun. According to the White House scandal playbook, he called the newest VA scandal "racists" too soon. First you deny, then you say "I just heard about it on TV." Then you blame Bush, followed by an investigation by those who caused the scandal.

Next you cry "witch hunt" as the fundraiser-in-chief uses his admiring media for photo-ops, as he hurls partisan insults at those who still believe in truth and justice. Then you wait, while your apologists inform the uninformed who put you in office, that this is "old news." Last of all comes the race card. There's plenty of Sharptons, Reids, Pelosis and empty suits who are expert at playing that card.

Keep an eye on this latest scandal. Our vets are under the single-payer health plan that leading Dems want for all of us.

Lastly, thank goodness for Washington "gridlock." At this point gridlock seems to be our only hope for this country. Idea for a new national holiday — Survivor Day! It will celebrate the day Obama leaves office.
