The Herald Bulletin
---- — Did someone mention the word scandal? Let's just list a few as we remember that Richard Nixon faced impeachment proceedings for only Watergate. Consider the following:- Fast and furious — The government sold 2,500 high-powered weapons to the Mexican drug cartel. They used these guns to kill hundreds of Mexican citizens, and at least one U.S. border patrol agent.- Benghazi — Four Embassy Americans were murdered. This scandal was re-ignited by two whistle blowers who testified before a congressional panel. What really happened?- IRS — It was revealed that the IRS was targeting conservatives, Christians, tea party members, and those who teach the Constitution. At least 500 American groups are persecuted, a list that grows in time.- News media persecution — The government seized phone records of The Associated Press and did the same to a Fox news reporter, threatening him with espionage and treason on something of common knowledge. Freedom of press oppression is blatant.- National Security Agency -- Telephone records of Americans are seized and stored in a massive computer system built in Utah. This includes cellphone calls, land line calls, Internet communications, Facebook communication, and probably more. This is a massive intrusion into the privacy of Americans and violates the Constitution.- State Department corruption — It's learned that State Department employees are misusing State Department credit cards to buy drugs and pay for illicit sex (prostitution). It appears that this administration does what it wants with impunity. How can this be?
