Letter: Christians must take action on new law

The worst law this country has ever written is having major troubles. It is not really about insurance. It is designed to have complete control of our lives. Do you remember when the president said "If you like your insurance, you can keep it period." He said the same about your doctor. Several people, even liberals, say that he lied. You can decide for yourself. Obama's statements were not factual.

Millions of policies have been canceled. A 60-year-old woman does not need maternity insurance. People cannot pay the increased costs. One woman's new policy is 10 times the cost of the policy that she was supposed to be able to keep. The ACA decides some things that have to be in your policy whether or not you want them. What finally happens? Are we being forced into a government one-payer policy? Does that sound like what Hitler did to Germany?

The solution begins with prayer. Yes, prayer for our leaders and our country. Then we, as Christians, must take action by exposing who Obama really is and his standards on such things as same-sex marriage and abortion. Our spiritual leaders must lead. We must support God's standards for marriage and life.
