10:07 p.m.: War protest in Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) — About 30 people turned out for a candlelight vigil outside Muncie City Hall marking the five-year anniversary of the start of the Iraq war.

The event was one of several Wednesday organized by the political action group MoveOn.org. Other events were scheduled for Bloomington, Indianapolis, Greencastle, Nashville and Crawfordsville.

Army veteran Debbie Lysek told the Muncie crowd they were there to honor the troops and call for an end to the war.

An organizer, Jennifer Rice-Snow, said she was pleased with the turnout in the chilly weather.
