INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton will be busy campaigning for his wife at rallies in four Indiana cities Wednesday.
The former president will visit Columbus, Seymour, Bedford and Bloomington to talk about why he thinks New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton would make the best president.
In Columbus Wednesday morning, more than 150 Columbus East High School students plan to miss class to hear Bill Clinton speak. Social Studies chairman Greg Lewis says it’s not an endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, but simply a rare opportunity to see a former president.
Hillary Clinton and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama are battling for Indiana’s 72 delegates in the state’s May 6 primary.
