FRANKFORT, Ind. (AP) — A utility worker was fatally injured when he was pinned between two vehicles in a crash while working with a crew on a Clinton County road.
Frankfort Utility Service Board President Joe Root says 25-year-old City Light and Power lineman Bryan Osbon died Tuesday while being airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital.
Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies say Osbon was injured when a SUV struck a utility truck parked on Indiana 28 near Frankfort. The driver of the SUV was also taken to a hospital, but sheriff’s deputies say her injuries did not appear to be serious.
Deputies say flaggers were directing traffic, but the driver of the SUV did not acknowledge their presence.
Prosecutors will decide if any charges will be filed against the driver.
