Midnight Parade: Judging results released

The Herald Bulletin

— First place: American Bikers Aimed Towards Education

— Second place: APD Crime Watch

Best Decorated

— First place: Anderson Roll Arena

— Second place: White River Valley Balloon Fest

Marching Women

— First place: Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars

— Second place, Ivy Rebekah Lodge

Winners may pick up their awards at the VFW at 3210 Columbus Ave., from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

In a statement, the members of the Midnight Parade Committee thanked the city and “all those who helped make the 35th annual parade a success. In a non-election year, and especially in a ‘down’ economy, parade entries are always fewer, but we found this year’s entries to be fun, quality and representative of what Anderson/Madison County has to offer.”
