— n Anderson police arrested Ryan W. Hewitt, 22, of the 2600 block of Seminole Drive, Anderson, at 5 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Iroquois Drive and State Street on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.
n Alexandria police arrested Nicholas S. Hernandez, 19, homeless, at 4:27 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of South Park Avenue on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor; public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle without ever having received a license, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond is $40,000.
n Anderson police arrested Michael D. Brooks, 51, of the 2500 block of Harvest Moon Court, Anderson, at 2:05 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Brown-Delaware Street on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class D felony, and driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose M. Calderon-Benitez, 24, of the 2400 block of Lincoln Street, Anderson, at 3:28 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 38th Street and Scatterfield Road on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor; public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle without ever having received a license, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Herlinda R. Ritter, 57, of the 100 block of Ohio 250 East, Ashland, Ohio, at 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Scatterfield Road, north of 53rd Street, on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $15,000.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephen R. Davis, 49, of the 1100 block of West 10th Street, Marion, at 8:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Indiana 28 and 550 West on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class D felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
• Elwood police arrested William J. Cough, 38, of the 2200 block of South K Street, Elwood, at 6:36 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of South K on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.
• Indiana State Police troopers arrested Rodney L. Pate, 52, of the 1200 block of South 800 East, Avon, at 6:42 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Indiana 67 and 600 South on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class D felony. Bond is $10,000.
• Alexandria police arrested Diane M. Copley, 44, of the 2500 block of West 11th Street, Muncie, at 3 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of South Indiana 9 on suspicion of invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lisa A. Leisure, 48, of the 2900 block of Rhus Street, Anderson, at 1:50 a.m. Sunday along 53rd Street, east of Main Street, on suspicion of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. She has since been released.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested William C. Figel, 23, of the 1800 block of Silver Street, Anderson, at 4:55 a.m. Sunday along Apache Drive on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.
• Anderson police arrested Jose G. Echartea, 23, of the 2500 block of Halford Street, Anderson, at 10 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Danny E. Drabenstot, 50, of the 700 block of South White Avenue, Marion, at 8:50 p.m. Friday along Indiana 28, east of 600 West, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. He has since been released.
