Arrest Log: Aug. 16

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Alexandria police arrested Dylan J. Croy, 20, of the 500 block of East Indiana 28, Alexandria, at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor failure to appear.
  • Madison County police arrested Jennifer S. Smith, 39, of the 2800 block of North D Street, Elwood, at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $500 for Class A misdemeanor contempt of court and Class D felony violation of in-home detention.
  • Madison County police arrested Edgar I. Diaz-Deleon, 31, of the 1300 block of Swinney Avenue, Fort Wayne, at 5 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class D felony failure to appear.
  • Madison County police arrested Leo J. Stapleton III, 19, of the 1700 block of Main Street, Anderson, at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor battery.
  • Anderson police arrested Erica D. Hooten, 23, of the 7400 block of West County Road 750 North, Middletown, at 6 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor failure to appear.
  • Anderson police arrested Jeremy W. Lightfoot, 43, of the 1500 block of Menifee Street, Anderson, at 6:24 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor contempt of court.
  • Anderson police arrested David C. Shipley, 55, of the 3100 block of Pitt Street, Anderson, at 6:30 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
  • Madison County police arrested Lindsey N. Berryman, 25, of the 1100 block of East 30th Street, Anderson, at 6:55 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $10,500 for Class D felony theft, Class C felony burglary and Civil contempt of court.
  • Alexandria police arrested Clinton M. Martin, 32, of the 100 block of Spring Valley Drive, Alexandria, at 7:12 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor OWI.
  • Alexandria police arrested Amanda M. Bagley, 19, of the 1400 block of North Park Avenue, Alexandria, at 7:16 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class C misdemeanor illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
  • Alexandria police arrested Robert E. Booker, 19, of the 300 block of Lincoln Wood Drive, Alexandria, at 8:36 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class C misdemeanor illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
  • Madison County police arrested Charles J. Berryman, 42, of the 1100 block of East 30th Street, Anderson, at 9 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $10,500 for Class D felony theft, Class C felony burglary and Civil contempt of court.
  • Madison County police arrested James D. Thompson, 31, of the 2200 block of East 59th Street, Anderson, at 9:08 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana, Class A misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended and Civil contempt of court.
