ANDERSON, Ind. — Ricker's gas stations are not involved with the recent recall by BP of regular gasoline shipped from its Whiting, Ind., fuel terminal between Aug. 13 and 17. The recall is due to vehicles' hard starting, stalling and other issues.
Ricker’s Chairman Jay Ricker announced Tuesday that none of Ricker’s branded or supplied stores were affected by this recall.
“The recalled BP gasoline in northwestern Indiana did not reach any Ricker’s locations. However, if you were a customer at another BP station and believe your car was affected, BP intends to make it right,” Ricker said.
BP customers who purchased gasoline in northwest Indiana should call BP’s customer service line at 1-800-333-3991.
