Lapel Music Department presents evening cabaret

LAPEL — The Lapel High School Show Choir and Jazz Band will combine their talents along with Chef Scott Hersberger’s culinary skills on Friday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m.

This mid-winter program has been a favorite the past few years. The commons area of the high school provides the perfect setting for such an event. As the Jazz Band performs, the show choir will serve salad, drinks and the main course. The Jazz Band students will serve the dessert as the show choir takes the stage.

Tickets are $12.50 for the dinner and show. People can buy an entire table for $100 and it will be reserved up front or wherever they would like to sit. Anyone who wants to just listen to the show without eating can buy a ticket for $7. One half of the proceeds will go to the Lapel Food Pantry and the other half will be split equally between the show choir and the jazz band.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by contacting any jazz band or show choir student, or by calling Lapel High School at 534-3036 and asking for the band or choir department.
