---- — ANDERSON — White River Club is hosting a Change of Heart event on Friday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m.
Change of Heart is a grass-roots program, presented by Self magazine, which was created to educate women about heart disease, make them aware of their personal risk, and motivate them to improve their overall health through volunteer organized fitness events.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women yet only one in five American women believe that heart disease is their greatest health threat.
White River Club invites the public to take part in a heart-pumping group workout. Registration for this event is $20, which goes to the American Heart Association and its Go Red For Women movement for important awareness, research and educational programs. In addition to the workout, each participant will receive a Change of Heart water bottle, heart health tips, and a one-year subscription to Self magazine.
