Arrest Log

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Friday and Saturday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

• Madison County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kristina Michelle Chappell, 32, of the 300 block of West 11th Street, Anderson, at 9:26 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class D felony for court commitment.

• Anderson police arrested Kenneth Lee Welsh, 18, of the 900 block of East Eighth Street, Alexandria, at 10:19 a.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony for attempted residential entry, at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor for attempted criminal mischief: other, $5,000 for Class B misdemeanor for attempted illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and at $5,000 for Class B misdemeanor for attempted public intoxication.

• Madison County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Demone Randle, 24, of the 1100 block of West 39th Street, Anderson, at 1:27 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor for attempted violation of probation.

• Police arrested Veldon Gene Thompson, 29, of the 2200 block of Park Avenue, Anderson, at 2:05 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class B felony for return to county jail per court order.

• Madison County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Anthony Dewayne Hamm, 34, of the 800 block of Sun Valley Drive, Anderson, at 2:21 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class C felony for return to county jail per court order.

• Police arrested Jarrod David Lamb, 41, of the 2100 block of West Royerton Road, Muncie, at 2:23 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor for return to county jail per court order.

• Police arrested Maurice Quenton Sherrod, 46, of the 1100 block of Brown-Delaware Street, Anderson, at 2:41 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $500 for civil contempt of court. No bond was set for Class B felony for return to county jail per court order.
