No injuries reported in home fire

Woman carried from the home by neighbors

ANDERSON -- A woman, living in a duplex in the 100 block of Darin Court, was not injured by a fire in her home, officials said Saturday.

Witnesses said a man carried the woman out of the home at the time of the fire but fire officials say she was not transported from the scene.

A 911 call came in at 8:01 p.m. Friday night when David Arnold, Jr. heard a man yell that there was a fire at the residence next door. Arnold followed the man into the home where a woman was found on the floor of the kitchen.

No injuries were reported said Daren Study, fire chief for Richland Township Fire, and the fire is under investigation.
