Models to ‘Rock’ Runway for United Way benefit

ANDERSON — Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, in partnership with Worth New York and international designer Antonio Fermin, will host the 2013 Rockin’ the Runway — Diamonds & Pearls Edition fashion show on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m.

The all-ages fashion event will be held in Hoosier Park’s new Terrace Showroom. Doors will open at noon for a cocktail hour and a silent auction preview. In its second year, the Rockin’ the Runway event’s goal is to raise $20,000 to benefit the United Way of Madison County.

Each model is challenged to obtain a minimum of a Chic Sponsor ($100). The model who obtains the most in sponsorships, ticket sales and donations will be crowned Top Model of the Year.

Designer Antonio Fermin will serve as the emcee for the evening. Fermin is an award-winning, international designer. He was voted manufacturer and designer of the year twice, and is the only designer in the bridal industry to receive the Award of Excellence.
