Arrest Log

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Friday and Saturday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Alexandria police arrested Chadwick B. P. Lee, 32, of the 300 block of Old Mill Creek, Alexandria, at 2:16 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class D felony theft and Class B felony burglary.

Anderson police arrested Curlytta L. Fuse, 29, of the 1600 block of West 10th Street, Anderson, at 2:47 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor false informing, Class C misdemeanor operator never licensed and Class A misdemeanor violation of probation.

Madison County police arrested Brian E. Heard, 39, of the 1700 block of Dewey Street, Anderson, at 4:53 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class D felony failure to appear.

Madison County police arrested Michael W. Johnson Jr., 24, of the 900 block of East Sixth Street, Anderson, at 5:08 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, Class D felony theft, Class D felony failure to register as a sex offender and Class D felony failure to return to lawful detention.

Madison County police arrested James L. Keirstead, 38, of the 300 block of South 10th Street, Elwood, at 5:28 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class D felony failure to appear.

Anderson police arrested Jessica D.D. Schmink, 31, of the 1200 block of West First Street, Anderson, at 6:50 p.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class D felony violation of probation.

Anderson police arrested Courtney N. Peeples, 25, of the 900 block of Brian Road, Anderson, at 7:04 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor OWI.

Anderson police arrested Bruce A. Gee Sr., 49, of the 6300 block of North Lunar Lane, Alexandria, at 8:29 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $35,000 for Class A felony child molest.

    The fussing of 10-day-old Autumn Marie Sperry seemed to coincide with the beginning of the funeral service for her father, Jesse Sperry, whose lifeless body rested just a few feet away. More than 200 friends and family members gathered at Edgewood Baptist Church this afternoon to pay their respects to Jesse, who was killed April 6 in a traffic accident on West Indiana 32.
