House committee shoots down live gambling for racinos

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana House Public Policy Committee has adopted an amendment to a gaming bill that would forbid live table gaming at the racinos, according to CNHI News Service reporter Maureen Hayden, who is on the scene. .

Anderson Rep Terri Austin is putting up an impassioned argument, but the committee chairman sees live games as expansion of gaming. The committee is still meeting.
