Arrest Log: Dec. 4

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Madison County police arrested Johnny L. Johnson, 37, of the 1600 block of West 21st Street, Anderson, at 1:17 p.m. Monday. No bond was set for court commitment on a Class B felony.

Anderson police arrested Kevin D. Peak, 25, of the 4200 block of Pitt Street, Anderson, at 1:34 p.m. Monday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor criminal trespass.

Anderson police arrested Veldon G. Thompson, 29, of the 2200 block of Park Avenue, Anderson, at 1:55 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class B felony dealing cocaine and probation violation on a Class B felony.

Anderson police arrested Kevin D. Burks, 27, of the 1600 block of West Eighth Street, Anderson, at 6:51 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony sex offender registration violations.

Madison County police arrested Kevin C. Taylor, 49, of the 1700 block of Costello Street, Anderson, at 10:21 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $500 for contempt of court in a civil case.

Anderson police arrested Christopher A. Stegall, 46, of the 2500 block of Ritter Drive, Anderson, at 10:22 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony theft.

Madison County police arrested Jason T. Mallette, 44, of the 2100 block of Crystal Street, Anderson, at 1:37 a.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $200 for Class A misdemeanor contributing to delinquency of a minor.

Anderson police arrested Janice E. Bynum, 56, of the 300 block of Spring Mill Road, Anderson, at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony theft.

Alexandria police arrested Matthew B. Cassel, 22, of the 300 block of North Pennsylvania Street, Alexandria, at 4 a.m. Tuesday. No bond was set for probation violation on a Class A misdemeanor.
