The Herald Bulletin

---- — ANDERSON — One block of West 22nd Street will be permanently closed starting Monday as construction continues with the Surgery Pavilion at St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

The street will be closed between Jackson Street and Brown Street, which will impact access to and from the Emergency Center and the Holy Cross Medical Arts Building's south drive.

Individuals can access the Emergency Center via 23rd Street and the service drive running in front of the Wilbur Roby Medical Office Building. The public already uses this route to access the parking lot for the Emergency Center, medical office building and Surgery Center.

The new state-of-the-art surgical facility is being built on the south end of the hospital campus. The pavilion will incorporate all of the former emergency department space and adjacent land and part of 22nd Street. The new surgical facilities will replace the hospital's surgery department and the Surgery Center.
