JamFest 2013 set for Aug. 4

---- — ANDERSON — Christ Lutheran Church, 2751 N. Scatterfield Road, will host JamFest 2013 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.

Admission, parking and activities are free. The purchase of a $2 ticket at the door can be redeemed for a jar of homemade jam and enter your name into the drawing for door prizes, including a hot air balloon ride for two, Andrew Luck No. 12 jersey, gift cards, symphony tickets, and free food to name a few.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Blind Ministry. Enjoy live music by Carl Erskine and other local musicians throughout the evening, including Anderson University Doctors of Jazz.

Attractions and activities include the Baden family Formula race car, tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), police K-9 demonstration, magician, face painting, football toss, Snakehead Ed (animal handler) from the Minnetrista Center, and much more.

Food will be available for purchase, barbecue chicken dinner and pulled pork sandwiches from Texas Roadhouse, hot dogs, and Good’s ice cream – and free popcorn and bottled water.
