Therapy animals to help students with stress of upcoming finals

INDIANAPOLIS — On Monday, friendly therapy dogs and cats will help students at IUPUI deal with the stress of upcoming final exams. They will visit for two hours with students, staff and faculty in a room in the Campus Center designated as #IMAJAGUAR Stress-Free Zone.

With finals and capstone projects, the end of the semester can be a trying time for students, faculty and staff. Through the #IMAJAGUAR Stress-Free Zone, students and employees can take a few minutes to decompress with some furry "Honorary Jaguars." Free "honorary jaguar" pet bandanas will also be available to visitors.

Five dogs and two cats from the North Central Indiana chapter of Love on a Leash will be in attendance in the PNC meeting room at the IUPUI campus center (first floor), 420 University Blvd.
