Arrest Log: Sept. 15

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Alexandria police arrested Joseph W. Cox, 36, of the 2800 block of Jefferson Street, Anderson, at 6:21 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy and Class D felony probation violation.

Madison County police arrested Casey R. Cupp, 21, of the 200 block of East Main Street, Richmond, at 6:38 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class C felony violation of probation.

Madison County police arrested Dan Logan III, 33, of the 1500 block of Nelle Street, Anderson, at 8:16 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor contempt of court.

Alexandria police arrested Amanda M. Bagley, 19, homeless, at 8:50 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Anderson police arrested Phillip S. Mabbitt, 27, of the 1900 block of East County Road 1250 North, Alexandria, at 9:56 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor conversion.

Elwood police arrested Aleysha M. Jones, 18, of the 800 block of North 16th Street, Elwood, at 10:22 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class B felony manufacturing meth, Class D felony possession of precursors and Class D felony possession of a syringe.

Madison County police arrested Willie Hogan, 37, of the 1000 block of South Boots Street, Marion, at 10:34 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class D felony failure to appear.

Madison County police arrested Catherine D. Scheetz, 31, of the 2100 block of North F Street, Elwood, at 11:13 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class D felony failure to appear.

Anderson police arrested Colin R. Polson, 18, of the 800 block of Washington Boulevard, Anderson, at 6:13 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.

More than 200 friends and family members gathered at Edgewood Baptist Church this afternoon to pay their respects to Jesse, who was killed April 6 in a traffic accident on Indiana 32.
