Arrest log: May 4

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Anderson police arrested Corey Benton Moore, 35, of the 5700 block of Applecreek Way, Anderson, on Thursday at 8:55 a.m. Bond was set at $3,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of intimidation.
  • Anderson police, arrested Bruce Allen Gee, 49, of the 1800 block of Noble Street, Anderson, at 38th Street and Columbus Ave. on Thursday at about 8 a.m. Bond was set at $5,000 on two counts of Class A misdemeanor battery. He was ordered released by the courts.
  • Elwood police arrested Tyelee Stansberry, 35, of the 1500 block of C St., Elwood, on Thursday at 10:25 a.m. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond on a Class D felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Anderson Police arrested Jeremy Lee Ramsey, 34, of the 1600 block of Main St., Anderson, on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Roberts Drive, Anderson. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond a charge of Class D felony charge of domestic battery and a Class C felony charge of criminal confinement. He was also cited for contempt of court, for which bond was set at $2,000.
  • Anderson police arrested Judith Ann Walker, 33, of the 4800 block of Petty Rd., Muncie, on Thursday at about 1:15 p.m. at 38th Street and Columbus Ave. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond on a Class D felony charge of  possession of a controlled substance, and a Class A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
  • Anderson police arrested Jeremy Joseph Stafford, 35, of the 1000 block of W. First St., Anderson, on Thursday at about 2 p.m. Bond was set at $3,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
  • Anderson police arrested Timothy Wayne Hood, 48, of the 1900 block of W. Washington St., Indianapolis, on Thursday at about 3:30 p.m. He is being held at the Madison County Jail on a parole violation for a Class C felony.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Daisy Darlene Fletcher, 20, of the 1700 block of Bennington Ct., Anderson, on Thursday at 3:45 p.m. and returned her to jail per a court order on a Class C felony.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Kelly Jo Bolt, 41, of the 2700 block of N. County Road 500 West, on Thursday at 3:50 p.m. Bolt was returned to jail per court order for a Class B felony.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Summer Dawn Wiles, 29, of the 1100 block of E. 27th Street, Anderson, at 3:53 p.m. on Thursday.  Wiles was returned to jail per court order for a Class D felony.
  • Anderson Police arrested Marshell Denise Harris, 42, of the 1100 block of Locust St, Anderson, at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday at 1104 Locust St. Bond was set at $10,000 on a Class D felony charge of maintaining a common nuisance, a Class C felony charge of obliterating identification marks on a handgun, and a Class A misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana, hash oil, or hashish.
  • Anderson Police arrested Marcus Dionne Jones, 33, of the 600 block Gene Gustin Way, Anderson, at 4:50 p.m. on Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class D felony charge of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, and a Class D felony charge of possession of marijuana, hash oil and hashish. Jones is also being held on a Class C misdemeanor parole violation.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested John William McWithey, 50, of the 5700 block of Hobbs Dr., Anderson at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. Bond was set at $10,000 on a Class C felony charge of nonsupport of a dependent child.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Robert Edmond Whipple. 78, of the 4500 block of Madison Ave., Anderson, at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. He is being held at Madison County jail per court commitment on a Class A felony charge.
  • Alexandria police arrested Jessica Lynn Glass, 33, of the 500 block of West Pierce Street, Alexandria, at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday. Glass is being held at the Madison County Jail per court commitment on a Class D felony charge.
  • Anderson Police arrested Michael Ray Smith, 36, of the 1100 block of West Sixth Street, Anderson, was arrested at about 8:20 p.m. on Thursday at Twelfth and Jackson streets. Bond was set at $2,000 on a Class D misdemeanor charge of public intoxication, and a hold was ordered for a parole violation on a Class D felony.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Patricia Ann Shirley, 30, of the 1900 block of Central Ave. at about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday at Ind. 9 and Broadway Street. Bond was set at $2,000 on a contempt of court citation.
  • Anderson police arrested Tyler Allen Whipple, 18, of the 3000 block of Main Street at 10:50 p.m. on Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class D felony charge of theft.
  • Elwood police arrested Danny Jay Giselbach, 23, of the 400 block of Main Street in Tipton on Thursday at 11 p.m. in the 600 block of South B Street in Elwood. He was being held on a Class A misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

    When news broke earlier this month that the Anderson Dental Clinic had been shut down and several employees, including owner Sally Metzner, had been arrested, Mark Funderburk's main concern was the patients. "A lot of them kept going there because of my dad even after he passed away," he said. "And they didn't deserve this."
