Local Briefs: Nov. 27

Social Security offices closed Friday

ANDERSON — On Friday, all Social Security field offices, including the Anderson office, will be closed to the public.

Employees who work the day after Thanksgiving will focus on backlog reduction.

Libraries announce holiday hours

ELWOOD — The Elwood Public Library, Frankton Community Library and the Ralph E. Hazelbaker Library in Summitville will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and closed all day Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. All three libraries will reopen with regular hours on Friday.

Hoosier Lottery closed Thursday and Friday

INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosier Lottery offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Hoosier Lottery drawings will occur at their regular times. No other business will be conducted at Hoosier Lottery headquarters or Hoosier Lottery regional offices on the above date. Tickets may be still purchased and prizes less than $600 may be redeemed as usual at Hoosier Lottery retail locations.

Hoosier Lottery offices will re-open Monday, Dec. 2.
