Trick-or-treat hours / Halloween Happenings


- 35th annual Stonycreek Farm Pumpkin Harvest Festival — open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Stonycreek Farm, 11366 Indiana 38E, Noblesville. No parking fee. For more information, call (317) 776-9427.

- Grandma and Grandpa’s Pumpkin and Gourd Patch, 2537 S. County Road 300E in Anderson 10 a.m. until dark. Corn maze, hay rides, pumpkin slingshot and thousands of pumpkins. No admission fee.

- Halloween ZooBoo — 2 to 7 p.m., Indianapolis Zoo. Dress up the kids in their most ghoulish costumes and join the animals at the Indianapolis Zoo. Not-So-Scary Animal Show at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy the Bounce House and the ever-popular pumpkin bowling, along with monster DJ music and something introduced just last year: a hay maze for the little ones. Halloween ZooBoo is included with regular zoo admission and is free for zoo members. Zoo admission is $13.50 for adults, and $8.50 for seniors 62 and older and kids ages 2 to 12. Children 1 and under are free, and parking is $5 per car.

- Haunted School for children K through eighth grade — 6 to 10 p.m., Ebbertt Education Center, 325 W. 38th St. Hosted by the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. $3 per child; four children for $10. Adults are free if accompanied by a child. Prizes for costumes. This event benefits United Way.

- Pet Howl-O-Ween photos — 6 to 8 p.m. Speck’s Pet Supply, Cross Street Marketplace, corner of Scatterfield Road and Cross Street. This is a fundraiser for Countryside Animal Rescue. For a $10 donation, Countryside Animal Rescue photographers will provide you with two digital 4x6 photo prints of your pet with proceeds going to support the rescue group’s pet education, animal welfare and spay/neuter programs. In addition, there will be a free Monster Mash Costume Contest beginning at 7 p.m. and all participants will receive a free goodie bag from Speck’s.

- “Nightmare on 22nd Street” — Wilson Boys & Girls Club, 2200 W. 22nd St., 7:30 p.m. to midnight, $3 a person.
