Bomb threat cancels classes at Ivy Tech in Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. — A threat was made to the Ivy Tech Muncie campus Thursday afternoon, according to school officials.

The campus was evacuated and closed after the threat on the Cowan Road campus was made by an unknown person.

Indiana State police responded by sending bomb experts to the campus. Thursday night classes were canceled at the Cowan, Fisher and Patterson buildings, according to the school.

No injuries have been reported.
