ANDERSON, Ind. —

  • Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Shane E. Maxwell, 36, of the 300 block of West Fifth Street, Anderson, at 9:17 a.m. Sunday at his home. Bond was set at $35,000 on charges of two counts of Class A felony child molesting.
  • Indiana State police arrested Arthur F. Farris, 62, of the 700 block of West 12th, Anderson, at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on 53rd Street. He was released on $5,000 bond on a charge of Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  •  Anderson police arrested Joanna S. McCain, 40, of the 2900 block of East Sixth, Anderson, at 5:06 p.m. Saturday. She was released on $4,000 bond on a charged of Class A misdemeanor false informing.
  •  Elwood police arrested Alison N. Butcher, 18, of the 5300 block of West 1800 North on Thursday at the Elwood Police Department. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of battery.
  •  Indiana State Police arrested Philip H. Jeremy, 28, of the 600 block of Alexandria Pike, Anderson, at 1:20 a.m. Thursday at Fifth Street and Cottage Avenue. Bond was set at $5,000 on Class D felony charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and neglect of a dependent.
  • Indiana State Police arrested Tremayne R. McPhaul, 37, of the 1800 block of Nichol Avenue, Anderson, at 1:08 a.m. Thursday at Arrow Avenue and 24th Street. No bond was set on a Class D felony charge of failure to appear and a Class C misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  •  The Madison County Drug Task Force arrested Steven P. Guffey, 19, of the 600 block of Broadway Street, Alexandria, at his home at 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $50,000 on two counts each of Class B felony dealing controlled substances and Class D felony possession of marijuana; and one count of Class D felony maintaining a common nuisance.
  • The Madison County Drug Task Force arrested Nova M. Guffey, 47, of the 600 block of Broadway Street, Alexandria, at her home at 7:45 p.m. Thursday. She was released on a Class B felony charge of dealing controlled substances and a Class D felony charge of maintaining a common nuisance.
  • Anderson police arrested Kalisha L. Mitchell, 19, of the 2300 block of Franklin Street, at 5:45 a.m. Thursday at 13th Street and Madison Avenue. She was released on Class A misdemeanor charges of carrying a handgun without  a license and resisting law enforcement.
  • Anderson police arrested Lawrence K. Brockington, 19, of the 2700 block of Jefferson Street, at 5:45 a.m. Thursday at 13th Street and Madison Avenue. She was released on a Class A misdemeanor charge of carrying a handgun without a license and a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
  •  Madison County  sheriff’s deputies arrested Morris J. McKinney, 50, of the 200 block of West Street, Pendleton, at 2:10 a.m. Thursday. He was released on a Class D felony charge of failing to stop after an accident involving serious bodily injury.
  •  Anderson police arrested Holly V. Hillenburg, 22, of the 2200 block of Chase Street, Anderson, at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home. Bond was set at $4,000 on Class A misdemeanor charges of battery and resisting law enforcement and Class B misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
  • Indiana State Police arrested Shawn P. Moore, 37, of the 300 block of East Cross Street, Anderson, at 12:39 a.m. Wednesday on Meridian Street south of 29th Street, Anderson. Bond was set at $2,500 on a Class D felony charge of operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator.
  • Anderson police arrested Aaron A. Garcia, 39, of the 600 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East Eighth Street. Bond was set at $4,000 on Class A misdemeanor charges of resisting law enforcement and a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
  • Lapel police arrested Thomas R. Tennyson, 22, of the 900 block of South Main Street, Lapel, at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of South Main Street. Bond was set at $3,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
  •  Indiana State Police arrested Lucky W. Price, 52, of the 2000 block of East 200 South, Anderson, at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday at Scatterfield and Mounds roads. He was released on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
