Business Profile: Primitive Corner offers unique merchandise

Owners say customers always come first

(Continued)

The owners said their first challenge to opening their business was picking the perfect location. This spring, the Primitive Corner plans to offer space that can be rented for weekend garage sales. State Road 9 is the perfect location for visibility and traffic reasons.

“So far, we feel that our ‘uniqueness’ is primary in what we are recognized for, and that our ability to custom build or create and to repurpose make our shop special,” Richardson said.

Customers who walk into the store can expect a friendly atmosphere and variety of items to see, the owners said.

And they say they are unique because of their “willingness to go the extra mile for our customers, whether it’s in creativity or delivery.”

The inventory at the store will evolve often and change with time, but customers should know the owners say they don’t mind occasionally negotiating the price of an item.

“We believe in the ‘old style’ mindset,” Richardson said. “Our customers come first.”
