Arrest log: May 1

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Police arrested William E. Allgood, 26, of the 200 block of West Co. Rd. 1600 North. Summitville, at 12:22 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 100 West and Washington Street, Alexandria. Allgood posted $5,000 bond on a Class D felony charge of theft.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Mannie E. Paschal, 19, of the 300 block Webster Street, Anderson, at 3:13 p.m. in the 700 block of Central Avenue, Anderson. Paschal posted $5,000 bond on a Class D felony charge of attempted theft.
  • Anderson police arrested Marvin L. Hester, 29, of the 700 block of Heritage Lane, Anderson, at 4:07 p.m. Monday at his home. Hester posted $8,000 bond on two Class A misdemeanor charges of resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Thomas E. Goodpaster, 54, of the 1400 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 4:23 p.m. Monday. No bond was set on Class B and Class D felony charges of probation violation.
  • Anderson police arrested Ashton J. Vollenhals, 26, of the 200 block of West Willow Street, Anderson, at 5:13 p.m. Monday. No bond was set on a Class A misdemeanor charge of probation violation.
  • Elwood police arrested Tracey J. Sexton, 40, of the 2500 block of North C Street, Elwood, at 5:52 p.m. Monday. Sexton posted $30,000 bond on two Class D felony charges of perjury and theft and a Class C felony charge of welfare fraud.
  • Anderson police arrested Tasha N. Ryan, 23, of the 300 block of West 14th Street, Anderson, at 6:50 p.m. Monday. No bond was set on two Class A misdemeanor charges of probation violation and resisting law enforcement.
  • Anderson police arrested Kenneth W. Farler, 53, of the 400 block of West 33rd Street, Anderson, at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. No bond was set on a Class A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.  
  • Anderson police arrested David W. Sylvia Jr., 32, of the 400 block of West 2nd Street, Anderson, at 1:33 a.m. Tuesday at his home. Sylvia posted $10,000 bond on a Class A misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement and a Class B misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.
  • Police arrested Nikki L. Justice, 34, of the 2000 block of Columbus Avenue, Anderson, at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Pearl Street, Anderson. No bond was set on two Class A misdemeanor charges of invasion of privacy and probation violation.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Robert M. Summers, 29, of the 30 block of Park Court, Pendleton, at 1:53 p.m. Tuesday. Summers posted $20,000 bond on a Class B felony charge of dealing a schedule I, II or III controlled substance.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Aaron A. Scott, 24, of the 30 block of West 42nd Street, Anderson, at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday. No bond was set on a Class A misdemeanor charge of probation violation with initial warrant.

He delivered Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne safely to Anderson University at the wheel of a two-seat IndyCar.
