Arrest log: May 19

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Anderson police arrested Tami L. Beck, 51, of the 2000 block of Noble Street, Anderson, at 9:49 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Anderson police arrested Riley K. Mitchell, 23, of the 3600 block of Gun Barn Road, Anderson, at 9:52 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor battery.

Anderson police arrested Mario Cecilio Bernal, 31, of West 40th Street, Anderson, at 10:10 a.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony habitual traffic offender.

Madison County police arrested Roger L. Shelton, 52, of the 6200 block of North County Road 350 East, Alexandria, at 11:28 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor failure to appear.

Edgewood police arrested Ashley L. Beard, 30, of the 1900 block of Drexel Drive, Anderson, at 1:29 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,500 for Civil failure to appear, Class A misdemeanor failure to appear and Class D felony habitual traffic offender.

Madison County police arrested Charles D. Broadnax Jr., 25, of the 2300 block of West 22nd Street, Anderson, at 3:36 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $2,000 for Civil contempt of court.

Madison County police arrested David W. Thomas, 41, of the 100 block of West 17th Street, Anderson, at 5:57 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $1,004 for two counts of Civil contempt of court.

    Despite strong winds and heavy storms Thursday night, Madison County property escaped relatively unscathed. While downed tree limbs and power lines led to a power outage for about 2,000 residences in Anderson, there were no reports of structure damage in the county.
