Minnetrista celebrates local art and native landscapes

---- — MUNCIE — Explore your appreciation for art and Indiana scenery at Minnetrista’s upcoming exhibits Open Space: Art About the Land and Indiana Wildlife Artists Annual Exhibit.

The exhibits, both art showcases and competitions, recognize and encourage local artists who derive creative inspiration from native scenery, wildlife, and open spaces, celebrating the significance of land and natural resource conservation.

Peruse Indiana-inspired artwork at Open Space: Art About the Land from Saturday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Oct. 6. Admission is $5 for non-members. Members and children 3 and under are free. Enjoy beautiful wildlife art at Indiana Wildlife Artists Annual Exhibit between Saturday, Sept. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 13. Admission is free for all visitors.

Open Space: Art About the Land exhibit is in cooperation with Red-tail Land Conservancy. A portion of the proceeds will go to help further its mission to preserve and restore ecologically significant land in east central Indiana.
