Family organizes search for missing man

A family is organizing a search for a man who has been missing since Sunday.

Jordan Bragg, 21, of Middletown, was last seen at the house of his mother, Kelly Bragg, that afternoon. The family is starting a search today at 8 a.m. in Dietrich Park and is looking for help from the public.

"Anyone can bring coolers or ice, because it's going to be hotter," Kelly Bragg said, referring to the weather.

Bragg had been in a fight with his girlfriend and was at his mother's home in Anderson for a visit. He left that afternoon, telling Kelly he had plans to play basketball.

When she went to his home later, Kelly said, Jordan’s car was there but the doors to the home were locked. Thinking he was asleep, she got in touch with his roommate and got permission to crawl through an unlocked window.

Inside, she found a scene of destruction, she said, with broken picture frames, shattered glass and holes in the walls. His keys, ID and phone were sitting on the table.

Middletown police conducted a search with multiple officers and a bloodhound this week. While police said that Jordan might just be with a friend, they’re still looking into the case. According to Kelly, Middletown police said they've exhausted all avenues of search and will not be participating in today's effort.

Jordan Bragg is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Middletown police at (765) 354-2281.

A Facebook page called “Bring Jordan Bragg Home” can be used to pass information along, and Kelly Bragg can be reached at (765) 606-1080.

On Friday, an official from the Middletown Police Department said he had no new information to report related to the investigation.
