Arrest log: Nov. 27

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Sunday and Monday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Elwood police arrested Cory E. Amick Sr., 18, of the 2000 block of South Q Street in Elwood, at 2:55 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of North 19th Street in Elwood. No bond was set on a Class A misdemeanor charge of invasion of privacy.
  • Anderson police arrested April M. Stewart, 21, of the 2800 block of Crystal Street, at 10:45 p.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $5,000 for two Class A misdemeanor charges of battery with injury and interfering with reporting a crime.
  • Elwood police arrested David S. Shields, 25 of the 1500 block of North E Street in Elwood, at 12:32 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of North 10th Street in Elwood. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
  • Anderson police arrested Jacinta K. McPhaul, 34, of the 1800 block of Nichol Avenue, at 3:15 a.m. Sunday at the corner of 22nd and Noble streets. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident and a Class C misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Elwood police arrested Morgan T. Hyleman, 19 of the 7000 block of East Indiana 28, at 12:36 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of South B Street in Elwood. Bond was set at $20,000 on Class D felony charges of possession of a syringe and theft, a Class B felony charge of robbery and a Class A misdemeanor charge of prostitution.
  • Elwood police arrested Nicholas B. Utterback, 28, of the 1300 block of South B Street in Elwood, at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Elwood. Bond was set at $20,000 on Class A misdemeanor charges of aggravated battery and resisting law enforcement, a Class B felony charge of robbery and a Class D felony charge of theft.
