iPads available for checkout at library

The Herald Bulletin

ANDERSON, Ind. — Anderson Public Library customers can now check out one of 10 new iPads for up to seven days. The iPads are preloaded with eBooks and apps (including library apps like Zinio and Freegal for magazines and music) that will allow customers to connect to APL and other resources.

Every iPad case will have a basic information sheet to get you started, and there’s no need to worry about security – every time an iPad is returned, it will be restored to its original settings, completely erasing anything changed or added while the iPad was checked out.

To check out an iPad you must be 18 years of age or older and must present a valid driver’s license or State issued photo ID and an Anderson Public Library card without fees or overdue items. If all iPads are checked out, you can place a hold online at andersonlibrary.net or at a public service desk. Call 641-2456 for more information.
