Revival planned at Kings Chapel
Kings Chapel Christian Church, 15101 Bethel Ave., Alexandria, will host a revival Monday through Sunday. Hours will be 6:30 p.m. nightly and 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The church will open nightly at 5:30 p.m. and at 9:30 a.m. Sunday for prayer. A pitch-in dinner will follow the Sunday morning service.
Evangelist is the Rev. Bill Hilligoss. There will be special singing by Pastor Tim and Debbie Cunningham.

AHS Class of ’68 planning reunion
The Anderson High School class of 1968 will have a planning meeting for its 40th class reunion at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the law office of Hulse, Lacey and Hardacre, 911 Meridian Plaza.

Mock disaster to be held at M-G
A mock disaster will be held for the purpose of raising awareness of the dangers associated with drinking and driving, and how this situation pertains to the prom season from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday. (Rain date is Thursday.)
The Fairmount and Summitville Volunteer Fire Department in conjunction with Grant County EMS, Lifeline and Samaritan will hold the event in front of Madison-Grant High School.
During this scenario, emergency vehicles will be responding to the high school using emergency lights and sirens. Two separate helicopters will also land in front of the high school.
Dance auditions for teen girls Friday
Auditions for girls ages 12-18 for the Anderson International Dance Troupe will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Anderson Public Library.
Those trying out must have a parent accompany them.

Google class to be held on Tuesday
The Alexandria-Monroe Public Library will host a Basic Google computer class from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
Learn to explore the world’s largest search engine. Sign-up is required and is limited to eight attendees.

Kiwanians plan pancake breakfast
The Anderson Noon Kiwanis Club will serve a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Olt Student Center, 1215 University Blvd.
Cost for the meal is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
Free dementia-specific training
Through a grant received from the Indiana State Department of Health, the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter is able to offer free professional education programs on Alzheimer’s and dementia care. This program will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and lunch on your own at Ivy Tech, 4301 S. Cowan Road, Muncie, North Instructional Center, Room 532/534.
Marilyn Hartle, social worker, and LaDonna Jensen, RN, from Jentle Harts Consulting, will be presenting the program, “The Brand New and the Tried and True in Dementia Care.” This four-hour dementia specific program will discuss new information being used nationally to redefine best practices in dementia care.
Registration is limited to the first 100 participants at each location and is required by calling the Alzheimer’s Association at (800) 272-3900.
Bingo Bonanza at library Wednesday
The word “bingo” may conjure up memories of church fundraisers or red-checkered picnic tables.
But the game has changed. Bingo used to be played in a church basement. Now it is played everywhere ... even in a library!
The Friends of the Pendleton Community Library, 595 E. Water St., invites the public to a fun afternoon filled with lots of prizes and refreshments on Wednesday. Organizers will start calling the numbers at 2 p.m. The event is free and will be held in the Community Room.

Angel Food orders now being taken
Parkview Church of the Nazarene will take orders in the church foyer for Angel Food Ministries on the following dates:
Today and Sunday, May 4 — 30 minutes before services.
Wednesday — 6 to 7 p.m.
Saturday — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Angel Food Ministries is not “day-old” or “outdated” food. It’s all fresh, name-brand products shipped to the area on refrigerated trucks for same-day distribution.
